Bala – Long Distance Weekend

It’s a 2-day endurance handicap event, with a 4-hour race on Saturday and a 3-hour race on Sunday.
Where: Bala Sailing Club, North Wales
When: Saturday 19th – Sunday 20th June
Format:
• Saturday – 4-hour race, starting in the afternoon to allow competitors to arrive Saturday morning
• Sunday – 3-hour race, earlier start to allow competitors to get away.
Entry: £35 for the weekend – entries are now open.
Where to stay: There’s lots of accommodation available locally. The closest option is Ben Y Bont Campsite, just a 5-minute walk from the sailing club, with both camping and glamping available. For example, 2 nights in a campervan is £104, including a hardstanding pitch with electrical hook-up.
